Donation & Zakat Policy

At Sabr & Hope Foundation, we are committed to delivering meaningful impact while maintaining full transparency with our supporters.

Sabr & Hope Foundation operates as a non-profit organisation. As we are not currently registered as a charity, we do not receive Gift Aid on donations. This means we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters to help us cover both project costs and the essential operational work required to deliver aid effectively.

To ensure that our projects are delivered responsibly and sustainably, 15% of each donation is allocated towards essential delivery and administrative costs. This includes logistics, operational support, project management, travel, verification of partners, and ensuring that aid reaches those in need safely and efficiently.

The remaining 85% goes directly towards charitable projects and beneficiaries.

Zakat Contributions

If you are donating Zakat, it is important that your obligation is fulfilled correctly.

We kindly advise that donors add an additional 15% on top of their Zakat amount to cover these necessary operational costs. This ensures that 100% of your intended Zakat reaches eligible recipients, in accordance with your religious obligation.

For example:

If your Zakat amount is £100, please donate £115
(£100 Zakat + £15 operational costs)

This allows us to distribute your Zakat in full while maintaining the systems needed to deliver aid responsibly and effectively.

We deeply value your trust and generosity. Your support enables us to continue serving communities with integrity, compassion, and excellence.

May Allah accept your charity, multiply your rewards, and make it a source of ongoing benefit. Ameen.
